The Szechenyi Medicinal Bath in Budapest is the largest medicinal bath in Europe; beside the health & wellness services the entrance ticket includes the use of saunas gymnastics & aqua fitness. Its water is supplied by two thermal springs; their temperature is 74 °C and 77 °C. There are 15 indoor thermal pools (water temperatures up to 40°C) and three outdoor pools, including an activity pool with whirlpool. The baths are open year-round. Components of the thermal water include sulphate, calcium, magnesium, bicarbonate, hydrogen carbonate and a significant amount of metabolic acid and fluoride is deemed to be good for pains in the joints, arthritis, blood circulation and disorders of the nervous system.
