  • Original Passport with old Passport :
    • Note: Passport should be valid minimum 06 months from the date of travel, Passport has been issued within 10 years and validity must not exceed 10 years, No hand written passports will be accepted.
  • 04 recent photograph Each :
    • 35*45 mm size, white background, matt finish & 80% face image & not used in previous visa.
  • Evidence of Sufficient Funds :
    • 03 years Personal Income Tax Returns with computation of Total Income Page.
    • 06 months Personal original Bank Statement updated with sufficient balance and Bank seal and Signature.
    • Copy of Investments like (P.P.F., Share Demat A/c Statement, F.D., L.I.C. Surrender value, etc.).
  • National id proof (PAN Card, AADHAR Card).
  • If applicant is Employee :
    • Pay Slip (last 6 months).
    • Leave sanction letter and N.O.C.
    • G.P.F (for Government Employee).
  • If applicant is Self Employee :
    • Business letterhead with sign & stamp & visiting card.
    • Business Proof (Shop & Establishment, G.S.T., C.S.T., etc).
    • Partnership Deed.
    • Memorandum of Article.
    • 03 Years Income Tax Return with computation of Total Income Page.
    • 06 Months Bank Statement.
  • If applicant is Retired :
    • Retirement letter from Employer.
    • Pension passbook copy.
    • Provident Funds copy.
  • If applicant is Student :
    • Evidence of enrolment at school,
    • College and university Or photo I D Card copy.

Note :

  • The submission of the visa application and supporting documents does not guarantee automatic issuance of a visa. Each application is assessed individually by the Peruvian Consul.
  • Visa applications can ONLY be submitted and processed at the Embassy of Peru in New Delhi.
  • Documents sent through email or courier will not be processed.
  • If an application is presented by an agent, it will only be processed once the original file is submitted to the Embassy, not from the date of submission to the agency.
  • In addition to the abovementioned documents, nationals of Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka are required to furnish a police clearance certificate.
  • Once an application is submitted, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Peru reserves its right to require an interview and additional documents.
  • Peru does not require travellers to hold a valid yellow fever certificate.
  • Other visa categories which fall under the competency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs require additional clearance from headquarters in Lima, Peru.
  • Visas issued by the Peruvian government are valid for six (06) months, counted from the date they were issued. Once this term expires, if a visa has not been used by its holder, it automatically expires.
  • Upon the first entry of the visa holder to Peru, visas will have the same validity as the period of permanence shown in the endorsement.

Normal Process Time: 12 working days after submission in High Commission

 

Nationals of the Republic of India, holders of valid ordinary passport, are exempted from the requirement of temporary visa (business or tourist category), provided that they meet at least one of the following conditions:

  • At the time of entry into Peru, the Indian national holds a visa with a validity of minimum six (6) months from any one or more of the following countries: Unites States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia or any Schengen space country.
  • The Indian national holds permanent residence in any one of the following countries: United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia or any Schengen space country.

The maximum period of stay will be of up to one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days, whether continuous stay or various visits during the period of one year. The stay will be determined at the port of entry by the Immigration Officers.
