After an American Breakfast at Hotel, today we proceed to explore Muscat City. We will starts by visiting the 5th largest mosque in the world, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (not possible on Friday & other public holidays)
Highlight of the Muscat city. Grand Mosque is a beautiful building which looks modern but shows that modern craftsmen have retained the skills necessary to create this wonderful traditional environment. The handmade carpets, the chandeliers, the ceiling of the great dome in the main prayer room are absolute 'must sees'. Kindly note, ladies to be fully covered and to carry a head scarf and men should wear trousers. Passing by the diplomatic quarter, visit the oldest and largest market in Oman, Muttrah Souq, here you can shop for Omani Souvenirs. Walk through the narrow alleys where the air is filled with smell of frankincense and sandalwood. Next we visit Al Alam Palace where the sultan receives his state guests. The palace is flanked by two Portuguese fortresses, Al Jalali (1578) to the right and Al Mirani (1581) to the left. At a museum, you will witness traditional artefacts and traces of history and pre-history of Muscat. Overnight, stay in at Hotel.

After an American Breakfast, check out from hotel, today you will be transfer from Muscat to Nizwa by Road. Nizwa, The historic town with its giant fort and high-walled Souq, lies on a plain surrounded by a thick palm oasis and some of Oman’s highest mountains. Upon arrival we will explore the city of Nizwa where its Souq is still the best place to buy silver in the country. This is followed by a visit to the most visited national monument, Nizwa Fort. it is an amazing example of old Omani architecture that provides an illustration of the way Omani people used to live in ancient times. Later we visit one of the most beautiful castle of Oman from 17th century, Jabreen. It is different from other Omani forts because it was not built in the times of war and is not a fortification that was expanded by different Imams overs centuries. It is basically a palace constructed in times of peace by a ruler who was passionate about science and art and that made it the most beautiful historic castle found in the Sultanate. A Fitting End To Your Day Out At another UNESCO site, Bahla Fort, the oldest and biggest fort in the country. Bahla Fort is an Omani complex located at the base of the Jebel Akhdar mountains that was listed as Oman’s only UNESCO fort in 1987 and is one of only four UNESCO sites in Oman. The complex is an outstanding example of an Islamic, medieval era oasis settlement in sand color that blends into the arid landscapes of the surrounding mountains. Later, we proceed to Hotel & Check in. Overnight, stay at Hotel.

After an American Breakfast at Hotel, we proceed to visit Al Hamra. Here the village women demonstrate old old practices such as milling, coloring, cooking and more, a truly enriching experience. This venerable village at the foot of the Hajar Mountains is one of the oldest in Oman, and it is interesting for its well-preserved row of two- and three-storey mud-brick houses built in the Yemeni style. There are many abandoned houses in the upper parts of the village, which make for an atmospheric stroll, especially at sunset when the honey-coloured buildings appear to melt into one. To the west of Al Hamra lies the road winding up Jebel Shams, the mountain of the sun. It is the highest mountain of the Arabic world. The drive to the peak is adventurous; you pass the old village Ghul with its green terrace fields. Some kilometres further you reach the abyss of the Omani Grand Canyon. Then visit the mountain village of Misfah which offers rewarding views of ancient architecture seen in stone houses. Overnight, stay at Hotel.

After an American Breakfast, check out from hotel. Today we will transfer from Nizwa to Wahiba Sands by Road. Enjoy the drive through the stunning dunes. A vast mass of undulating red and White Sea of sand and dunes rising up to 200 meters, which are, also host to a variety of flora and fauna. After arrival in the camp you climb up on the lonely dune to watch the miraculous sunset. The day ends under the sky of Oman while you sit together around the fire place and try Omani specialties. In Evening, Enjoy Dinner at Camp. Overnight, stay at Camp.

After an American Breakfast, check out from hotel. Today we will transfer from Wahiba Sands to Sur by Road. On the way we visit the ever-green Wadi Bani Khalid which is one of the most famous ones of the entire Sharqiyah region. The river never dries out completely throughout the year there is a continuous water current. Arriving to the fishing town of Sur, the home of Omani traditional Dhows (boat), you will visit the dhow factory in the open air museum. Late in the evening, an extraordinary experience awaits you at the Turtle beach where you will get the opportunity to witness sea turtles coming to the shore and laying eggs! Later, we proceed to Hotel & Check in. Overnight, stay at Hotel.
